This mostly overseen small little spot is a true gem: A wild river with glacial colors, a small bridge with a hut and a amazing mountain backdrop.

Play all around the location with ultra-wide angles. If you like, take your ND-filters with you in order to take long exposure shots to flat out the water.

Tip: Go for a slightly underexposed image because you don't want to loose those highlights of the lit mountains.

The Valbona valley can either be reached by getting a rental car or by bus. Most of the roads suggest to go via the Komani lake. However, there is also a mountain pass leading there. Be careful when driving the mountain pass since there is a lot of loose rock and streets in bad conditions. For this spot, parking is directly located at the street.
