This was day 7 of our trip to Antarctica where we were passing through the Wilhelm Archipelago near Petermann Island also known as the Iceberg Graveyard. These Leopard Seals were sunning themselves on a small iceberg.

Photography Tips

Used my 100-300 lens to capture one of the other Zodiacs viewing the Leopard Seals.

Travel Information

This was a 10-day cruise from Ushuaia Argentina to Antarctica and back stopping off each morning and afternoon on the ice.
