Argentina campo de piedra pomez 3
The field of pumice stone is a natural wonder well hidden. A greater volcanic eruption of the Blanco volcano produced this sediment of pyroclastic flows eroded by the winds and climate of the area
Photography Tips
The best time for photographs is sunrise or blue hour. Later the sun is very intense and the contrasts too strong. In my case, the rocks facing east, the sunrise was the best option.
Travel Information
The approach needs a 4x4 vehicle. They go through deep sand fields. With these vehicles you get to the foot of the West side (better at sunset). In my case, on the east side, vehicles are not allowed and I needed 2 hours of walking.
