The port of the city of Mar del Plata is located on the coast of Mar del Plata, in the southeast of the Province of Buenos Aires, on the Argentine sea of the South Atlantic Ocean. It is an artificial port enclosed by two important breakwaters, the North and the South. It began to be designed at the end of the 19th century and was inaugurated in 1924. It is also an overseas port.
It is also a tourist walk. You can visit the Grotto of Lourdes, the Sea Lion Reserve, the parish of the Sagrada Familia, the monument to the Man of the Sea and the Juan B. Justo Avenue.
