Legend says that Martin Bormann - a close confidante of Hitler - would have hidden himself here in the Argentine jungle. The house where it is said to have hidden is located in the Parque Provincial Teyú Cuaré. So there are signposts that lead to Bormann's house and you can marvel at the ruin. It is only speculated whether it was really a Nazi hiding place. If you research on this topic, you will find very different statements. On the one hand, just that he would have hidden here on the other side, his body was identified in Germany. Nobody knows how all of these rumors have arisen, but it is interesting to examine this ruin. Only the walls are left of the house itself and a heel cross is carved on one wall.

Travel Information

According to my research, the park is open between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. There's a parking at the entrance.

As far as I found out there's no public transport to this place, so I did a hike. But it's far with around 8km. For the way back, I have always did hitchhiking...
