Argentina View from the Mirador del Correntino on the Cerro Capitan

For me, this was one of the most beautiful views of the whole trekking tour. If you look to the left, you can enjoy the view of Cerro Tronador and Lago Frey below. Cerro Capitan continues straight ahead - but we didn't want to go that far. The view would certainly have been very nice up ahead. Behind the end of Cerro Capitan is an extension of Lake Nahuel Huapi, which is called "El Brazo Tristeza" (Spanish for sadness). The whole valley you look into is incredibly green and contrasts sharply with the barren summit we are currently standing on...

Your lens should be as wide -angled as possible. I used 16mm on a full -frame camera and it wasn't enough. That's why I put several portrait pictures together into a panorama.

It's the 4 day of a 5 days trekking tour. You need fully camping equipment, because at Laguna CAB and Laguna Creton you are in the wilderness.

This time we startet at Laguna Creton and went to Laguna Ilon. At Laguna Ilon is a Refugio.
