Argentina Cascada Nacimiento close to Cajon del Azul, El Bolson
There is a small hidden waterfall by the river. It is difficult to find. The water tumbles down the rock formations.
Photography Tips
I didn't have a tripod with me. To take long exposures, I placed the camera on the stones. If you have a steady hand and a good stabilizer, you can also take hand-held photos with an exposure time of 1/10 of a second. It works well for me.
Travel Information
I visited this place on a multi-day trekking tour near El Bolson. The landscapes are beautiful and there are great hiking trails. You can spend the night in the refuges.
Day 1 Refugio Hielo Azul, day 2 Refugio Natacion, day 3 Refugio Cajon del Azul, day 4 Refugio Tronconado. Especially in the area around Cayon Azul you will have many opportunities to stay overnight in refugios or to camp. There are buses to the starting points of the hikes and you can get detailed information at the tourist information office in El Bolson.
The waterfall is not marked on Google Maps, but I found it on MapsMe and Mapy.cz.
