Argentina Trekk to the TOP of Cerro Lopez, Bariloche
At this point, you have almost reached the end of the hike, namely the summit of Cerro Lopez. The ascent is complete and you have a magnificent 360° view of the Patagonian landscape. In one direction you can see Lake Nahuel Huapi and in the other direction the famous Cerro Tronador, which stands proudly with its white peak.
Photography Tips
Your lens should be as wide -angled as possible. I used 16mm on a full -frame camera and it wasn't enough. That's why I put several portrait pictures together into a panorama.
Travel Information
I did a trekking tour to Refugio Lopez and the summit of Cerro Lopez. You can get there with the bus line 10 that goes to Colonia Suiza.
The climb to Refugio Lopez is steep and sweaty but still easy to do. The ascent to the summit of Cerro Lopez involves a lot of climbing. However, you can leave your rucksack at the Refugio Lopez. The Refugio Lopez serves very good food and it was not necessary to book in advance.
