Armenia Marmashen monastery
Marmashen monastery is dating back to the 11th century. It was built in the style of the former Armenian capital Ani, which is part of Turkey today. This place is just a few kilometers from the Turkish border (which unfortunately can‘t be crossed).
While parts of the complex are in amazing shape given their age, you can clearly see humidity creeping up the walls.
