Australia sand dunes

The sand dunes are the largest in the state containing absolutely nothing but pure white sand and no vegetation. A very popular spot with off-roaders and sandboarders.

Dark glasses are recommended because of the intense glare, it should also be noted that during the summer time it can get excessively hot

Photography Tips

because of wind blown sand, do not try to change lenses and try to protect your equipment. Either a waterproof housing or other camera protection is advisable.
Also be aware that you will on a sunny day have extreme contrast

Travel Information

127 km north of Pert ,the town of Lancelin is about one and a half hours drive. The dunes are directly behind the town with plenty of space for parking
