Australia Sunflower Fields, Nobby
The Southern Downs in Queensland is beautiful rich farmland. Sunflower season is from January through March each year and the flowers are a real treat! They photograph well anytime during the day when the sun is out. (yes, even midday!) Golden hour is wonderful too, but dont leave it too late because the flowers droop when there is no sun.
Photography Tips
First go to the Warwick visitor information centre in the main street or phone them on +61746613122 and ask where the flowering locations are. There are many fields planted and not all are in flower at the same time. Put the address(es) into your GPS and off you go! When you reach the fields, park by the roadside. Take insect repellent to deter the flies.
