Isolated trees in the water, low tides where you can walk out quite a distance. Uncluttered compositions to capture colourful skies at sunrise and sunset. Moonrise through the trees if you can time it well.

Photography Tips

Use water shoes or wear old shoes that you don't mind getting wet, and take lots of bug spray. Low tide is best, check the times as the tide rises quickly when it turns. Very soft muddy sand in areas, use spikes or plates under your tripod feet to stop them from sinking.

Travel Information

Parking is at the end of Biggs Avenue, there are only a handful of parks. Walk south through the grassy area and follow the sand tracks through the mangroves/bush to the beach.
