Australia Devenish Silos

The Silo Art trails in Victoria kicked off in Victoria quite a number of years ago, in the Mallee, but has spread to a lot of locations around the state. This one's theme was initially a tribute to Nurses in War with a nurse in modern uniform and one with a WW2 uniform. Later the Soldier and horse were added representing The Australian Lighthouse Soldiers from WW1

The artworks face East so a daytime shot is best early in the morning

If you're in a camper van the area at the footy ground is ok, or the pub will let yet park in their back yard. The silos are in the Main Street directly opposite the Pub. Very good meals at the pub
