There is a short track from Newport Beach to Bilgola beach on Sydneys Northern Beaches. This is the view from the track looking at the headland at the northern part of the beach. The beach is only 300 to 400 metres long with headlands at both ends and a beautiful sandy beach in between.

Photography Tips

This is a stitched panorama using my 16-35mm wide angle lens. I took about 5 over lapping by 1/3 shots to stitch the images together in Lightroom

Travel Information

There is paid parking at both Newport Beach and Bilgola Beach car parks but at sunrise you should be to get away without parking. This is located about 45 mins from Sydney.
