The Museum was built around the skeleton on 'Big Tom' an Orca, Killer Whale. The story of Big Tom is quite amazing where he and a pod of other Killer Whales would herd whale into Twofold bay where the Whalers would kill the whale then step back while the Killer Whales would eat the Whales tongue then swim away and let the whalers have the rest of the whale. 'Big Tom helped the whalers in Eden of about 40 years.
