The location of this specific image is at a boat ramp southwest of the main entrance. It is a lovely peaceful place with interesting foregrounds and backgrounds. Also lots of birdlife.

Travel Information
This is the main drinking water supply for the Gold Coast Region of South East Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1976 and covers 207 square kilometres. It has many bushwalking and horse riding trails and is popular for anglers (need a permit). Fish include golden and silver perch, saratoga, Mary River cod and Australian bass. At the main entrance, there is a cafe and picnic area and conference facilities.
