This was shot at Burgess Beach just after dawn with the rocks protecting me from the bright rising sun to the left of the rocks with waves crashing against the rock formation allowing for this crash of the wave against the rocks. The beach is a combination of sand and rocks which means you can swim here as well as getting some great compositions.

Photography Tips

ISO 100 F3.2 at 1/250 sec to capture the wave as sharp as possible. I did use a tripod but for this shot I could of hand held the camera.

Travel Information

The free car park is 20-30 metres on a path from the beach with many photo opportunities.
