This was taken just before dawn at Cape Byron Lighthouse at Byron Bay. The lighthouse was completed in 1901 light keepers continued to look after the light till 1989.

Get there before dawn and have a tripod and ND Grad filters

Travel Information

The boom gate is closed but there is a small parking area that is free till 6.00 am and another a bit further down. Please note do not illiberally park as at that time of the morning they will fine you. It is a few min walk to the lighthouse form the car park.
