Australia Trial Bay Gaol gates south West Rocks New South Wales
The Gaol or area was named after a ship that was shipwrecked in this area and teh name of the ship was the Trial and the bay was called the Trial Bay. The shipwrecked ship was hijacked by prisoners in 1816. Construction of the Gaol commenced in 1877.
