The best time is in the golden hour, either morning or evening. This was taken in the afternoon.

Travel Information

The spot is 5 km west of William Creek on the Oodnadatta Track, a stony road which is nine hours from Adelaide. A four-wheel drive is recommended. Stones can puncture low profile tyres and service in this remote area is pretty much non-existent.
