Travel Information
Drive 1800 km north from Cairns or Port Douglas. Roads are dirt and depending upon weather and if a grader has not recently groomed the road, can be very rough. The easy way to get there is on a tour. Let others do the worrying. Definitely avoid the wet season, southern hemisphere summer.
