This is part of the 10 klm walk around the Base of Uluru or Ayers Rock in Central Australia. This Rock formation has great significance to the local Aboriginal people. This is what looks like a face on the rock

Photography Tips

Getting the start of sunrise with the light hitting the top of the rock. I was at the Boom gate at 6.00 am opening time to get the best light for teh day

Travel Information

Located about 20 mins from Yulara there are a few parking areas around the rock to start the 3 hour walk. Do not visit in Summer as it can be too hot. Spring and Fall the best time
