Australia South Durras
This spot has some fantastic rock formations where you can take long exposure photos of the waves crashing on the rocks.
The waves will only crash over this particular rock if either the tide is very high or if there is a strong breeze causing bigger waves.
Park your car in the boat ramp car park and walk down the boat ramp towards the beach. The rocks are located just off to the right.
**You will find lots of kangaroos out the front of nearby houses, in the car park of the boat ramp, all through the nearby Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort (a great place to camp for a few days) and sometimes even on the beach.

Photography Tips
Photo settings & equipment -
- ISO 400
- f11
- 0.4 sec
- 3 stop NISI ND filter
- Remote shutter release
- Tripod
The best time to photograph this location is definitely sunrise but I think it would be quite difficult to time the perfect conditions of sunrise + high tide + big waves.
