Australia Lucky Bay

The paradisiacal Lucky Bay bears its name for good reason. The white sand in the bay consists of quartz sand, supposedly the whitest sand in Australia.. When the quartz particles rub against each other, as they do when you walk on them, the sand squeaks.

Photography Tips

In the bay you can supposedly often take pictures with kangaroos on the beach. Unfortunately, we didn't see any kangaroos.
