Austria Pinzgau Railway

There is a narrow gauge railway (760 mm) running from Zell am See to Krimml. A team of railway friends care for some steam locomotives and provide special trains with them. You can look up the timetable at the official homepage of the "Pinzgaubahn".

Photography Tips

Be sure you have a tripod with you an choose a longer exposure time lik 1/10 to make the movement of the wheels visible. You can look for several other spots without bulidings and just landscape along the railway. In my case there was too much snow and I could not get there.

Travel Information

Either you take the railway itself and make pictures in the stations or you go by car to any place you like and walk to the route. The railway is not fast and so you can follow the train change your spot several times.
