Austria Hundsteinsee

this spot is nice and calm. you can relax after a little hike an take some nice photos. the view is stunning and this lake and location offers a lot of different angles and perspectives

try to find foregroundelements (not so hard, there are a lot).
use different foca lenghts, maybe try to shoot a pano.

theres a parking lot (free) in Brandenau. You get there, when you take a left turn from the Pinzgauerstraße at Gries im Pinzgau. The follow the road direction north till you get to the parking lot. Form there you hike the trail up till you get to the first crossing. you can deside to take the left or the right track. fastest way is to take the right one direction Tödlingalm. When you arrive at Tödlingalm, follow the right path that says: Hundsteinsee. Total time of hiking approx. 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Another way to get up there is to take the hike to Hundstein (first crossing left path) via Mooseralm. Up the Hundstein is the Stanzerhaus, where you can take a break and then hike down to the Hundsteinsee by following the signs to Ochsenkopf.
