Travel Information
A scenic hike in the Hohe Tauern National Park in Salzburg. Starting from the Hopffeldboden car park, the beautiful circular route to Lake Seebach in Obersulzbachtal starts. The path is laid out as a themed trail and information boards on the typical larch, stone pine and spruce forests, the Seebachsee and the Seebachalm at 1,992 m and the Great Geiger as a prominent mountain in the Obersulzbachtal in the Venediger Group described.
For the Seebachrunde the hike over the Seebachalm 1,992 m is recommended. The descent takes place via the "Monau" to the Berndlalm and on to the Kampriesenalm and back to the Hopffeldboden car park.
Starting at the parking Hopffeldboden it goes on the Almweg until shortly before the bridge of the Obersulzbach-Ache. Here you turn right and walk on an initially quite steep trail through the pine fields to Seebach Alm. When you have reached this, a slightly ascending trail leads to Seebachsee.
Back the path leads on the other side of the stream into the valley to the Almweg to Berndlalm. Hike along the alpine path back to the parking lot.
