Austria Großglockner

view to the Großglockner, the highest peak of austria from near the lucknerhütte. the River can be used as leading line. Best to photograph at sunrise or sunset. Even at night it's a great place, because there's nearly no light pollution so you see plenty of stars.

use the river as a leading line. try to step into the river, maybe on a stone, and go on a low angle. basically shoot wide, but also try to frame the großglockner with a tighter focal lenght.

you can drive to the parking lot at Lucknerhaus via Kals am Großglockner (Osttirol). To acces the parking lot you have to drive via the toll road (4€ for 3 hours, 7€ for 6 hours, 10€ for 24 hours). At Lucknerhaus there are plenty of parking possibilities. Form there you hike via a dirt road till you reach the Lucknerhütte (approx. 2 hours)
