ARRIVAL WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Use the following public transport options to get to the Danube Tower:
Option 1 – Metro & Danube Tower Shuttle:
Take either the metro U1 to the station Alte Donau or the metro U6 to the station Neue Donau. From both metro stations, it’s a mere 5-minute ride with the free-of-charge electric bus shuttle (easily accessible for people with impairments) that takes you directly to the Danube Tower – and back.

Option 2 – Metro & Bus Line 20A:
Take the metro U1 to the station VIC (Vienna International Centre)/Kaisermühlen or to the station Alte Donau. Alternatively, take the metro U6 to the station Neue Donau. From either metro stations, take the 20A bus to the Donauturm (Danube Tower) bus station. Click here for the 20A bus departure times.

The Danube Park is the ideal place to meet up with friends. There are plenty of bike racks available at the Danube Tower.

Coming from the southern motorway (A2):
A23 southeast ringroad to Handelskai – Brigittenauer Brücke – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.
Coming from the airport:
A4 eastern motorway until the exit onto the A23 southeast ringroad in the direction of Handelskai – Brigittenauer Brücke – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.
Coming from Korneuburg:
A22 motorway along the banks of the Danube until the exit onto Kaisermühlen (Vienna International Center) in the direction of Wagramerstraße – Arbeiterstrandbadstraße – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.
Coming from the western motorway (A1):
Wienzeile – Schönbrunnerstraße – Margaretengürtel until Gürtelbrücke (along the Gürtel ring segment) – Adalbert Stifterstraße until Floridsdorfer Brücke – A22 motorway along the banks of the Danube then exit onto Kaisermühlen – Wagramerstraße –Arbeiterstrandbadstraße – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.
