Austria Kaiservilla, Bad Ischl
The Kaiservilla in Bad Ischl was the summer residence of the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I and his wive Elizabeth ("Sisi"). It was his mother's wedding gift. It is situated in a wide garden. Sisi had an own pavillon up the hill which I will show in another spot.
Photography Tips
Due to the pandemic the villa was closed and the garden was only opened from 9 am to 2 pm. Usaly it is opend til 5 pm. This is important, because you will find better light in the afternoon. But you should consider to visit the Salzkammergut beforde the Chinese are back ....
