The "Marmorschlössel" was built 1856 to 1861 as a refugium for the Empress Elisabeth ("Sisi"), the wife of Franz Joseph I. There she could stay and write poems, stories, to meet her friends and plannig her journeys while her husband had to govern his lands.

Now a photo museum is inside, which was closed when I was there due to the pandemic.
