The Gepatsch Stausee (Gepatsch Reservoir) is an artificial lake in the Kauner Valley in the Tyrol. It contains the water of the mountains around mainly from the glacier "weißseeferner".

You can walk around the lake. There are several waterfalls where you can take pictures.

Travel Information

You can reach this point by the Kaunertaler Gletscherstraße by car. From there you can drive uphill to the "Weßenseeferner". You have to pay toll for this road. A public bus service is provided as well.
