The photo shows the most striking mountain in the Gesäuse National Park in Styria in Austria, the Admonter Reichenstein (2251m).

Photography Tips

A standard zoom lens is sufficient. A wide-angle lens is not necessary. As always, don't forget your tripod and ideally come at sunrise. This photo was taken facing west.

Travel Information

From the centre of the bridge that crosses the River Enns, you have a good viewpoint of the mountain. There is a car park two minutes' walk after the bridge. There is also a campsite right next to it.
