You can experience this stunning view of the Kitzsteinhorn from the local airport in Zell am See-Kaprun. The famous mountain can be seen from many different perspectives and locations in the region.

Photography Tips

I used my 100-500mm lens to be able to get this close to the mountains. Luckily there wasnt so mich snow in the region when I visited, which made it easier to have more contrasts in the mountain and trees in front. The cloud hitting the peak was also very helpful to capture this beautiful scenery.

Travel Information

I visited the airpoirt because of an event and spotted the misty mountain from here. There is a parking lot around but if you are not coming here for a special event or to ride in a helicopter / fly in a plane, there isn´t much to do here.
