A walk around the beautiful Klammsee is always worth it! There are various ways to get to the Klammsee reservoir.

Photography Tips

I brought my drone to make the color of the lake even more visible. Make sure you are legally allowed to fly and stay away from the power lines which are kind of everywhere around you due to some power stations.

Travel Information

Either you park your car at the Sigmund Thun Klamm car park and then hike through the Sigmund Thun Klamm (entrance is free with the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card) and then take the circular path around the Klammsee. Another option would be to drive towards the Kitzsteinhorn, past the Jagawirt, and then there is a car park 1 kilometer further on on the right. From here you can also hike to the Klammsee on foot.
