Austria Hochkeil trail, Hochkönig

The hike up to the Hochkeil is short but very rewarding. You will get some 360-degree views. The highlight is the Hochkönig mountain ridge. The hiking trail is in good condition and, therefore, can be done with your little kids and elderly people. To get to the exact location, I took roughly 30 minutes.

The hiking trail up the Hochkeil offers stunning 360-degree views, which can be used to take incredible photos of the nearby mountains or peaks in the distance. Keep your eyes open for the small details, such as meadow huts in the distance. Autumn is a great season to visit and capture these beautiful colors.

Travel Information

I parked my car at the Arthurhaus parking lot (not free of charge). The road is in fantastic condition and worth stopping several times to enjoy the stunning surroundings.
