Austria Kolmbach, Nature and Schödersee

There are a lot of spots along the Kolmbach to the Schödersee. There are not really special Spots because the whole area in that National Park is just one big spot. If you have a lot of creativity you will love that place. The Schödersee is located at the end of the valley with Mountains around. In Whole 100% Nature!

If you want to photography the Schödersee, you get the best light by sunrise because the Mountains will shine in Orange/Yellowcolors and fog is lying on the Schödersee. If you want to photgraph the Kolmbach it doesn't matter which time you go there. To be honest the best time is when it rains, because the Stones are wet and everything there looks better. But be carefull because there is no normal way and the stones are slicky.

You can Park at the Parkingplace "Talschluss" which is at the end of the Großarl Tal, for free the whole day! From there you walk 45min through the National Park to the First lake which is periodic. In that way you will see some people there because you walk on the road. But when you walk farther to the Schödersee which takes 1 1/2 when you make no brakes it looks like nerver has ever been there! Distance is about 6km one way from the parkingplace!
