Austria Ahornboden Nature Reserve

The large Ahornboden is located in Austria but very close to the German border. There is a large amount of very old maple trees (up to 600 years old). Each autumn the coloful trees attract a lot of tourists. The street end in a small mountain village with great local food and beer!

The entrance fee is 4,50 EUR for cars. This area is great for hiking and mountain biking.

BTW, you'll find great spots on your way to the Ahornboden as the street goes parallel to a small river. Have a look to the attached pictures from "Behind the Scenes".
