Austria Bielerhöhe
Beautiful landscape more than 2000m above sea level. The Bielerhöhe connects the Vorarlberg Montafon with the Tyrolean Paznauntal. At the top of the pass, there is a reservoir that serves as a reservoir for generating electricity.
In winter, the path leads to the Wiesbadener Hütte, to the Ochsental Glacier, and to the neighboring mountain peaks, such as the Pitz Buin over the frozen lake - this is shorter and safer due to the danger of an avalanche than along the shores of the lake.

Photography Tips
Bring a wide angle lens and check the weather forecast before you go there.
Travel Information
You need to get a pass to be allowed to travel the famous "Silvretta" road (15€ in 2015). Either via the Vorarlberger Montafon or via the Tyrolean Paznauntal.
In winter, from the Montafon mountain in Vorarlberg from Partennen with the Versettla cable car and then by ski bus or from Tyrol from Galtür with the Pistenbully. Since the journey in winter is a bit complicated, we recommend staying overnight in one of the two hotels on the Bielerhöhe. Parking is free.
