Belgium Malakoff - Verdonken toren

The "oude Zenne" -natural reserve is small but valuable in the suburban region south of Brussels. It houses a divers selection of fauna and flora and is a peacefull naural "haven".

This is a perfect playingground for all seasons. In summer, the fields surrounding the tower may become a bit "crowded" by people who come to enjoy the reserve with a picknick. But the rest of the year you can phantasize being all alone (besides the occasional dogwalker or photographer). Every season offers a new possibility for pictures.

There is a small parking (free) on the Dokter Spitaelslaan. Or you can park in the area off the church of Lembeek and make your way to the reserve through the castles-park (the castle is no longer there)
