Belgium Tongerlo Abbey
The Abbey was founded in the 12th century. The current buildings date from the 14th century (romanesque gate building) to the 19th (church) and 20th centuries. Very interesting is the earliest known copy of Da Vinci's Last Supper, housed in a separate museum building. This copy dates from 1506-1507 (about 10 years after the original in Milan) and was painted by one of Da Vinci's students.
Photography Tips
Don't forget to enter the church, tripods are allowed inside. However, it is a functioning abbey so be extra respectful if the monks are present.
