Bleyckhof Castle dates back to 1748. Originally, the building served as a linen bleaching plant. At the beginning of the 19th century, chemical bleaching agents appeared on the market, and around 1830 the bleaching activities ceased. In the second half of the 20th century it was completely rebuilt.
The castle has been protected as a monument since 1981.
