Belgium Cockerill Sambre Liège
A giant abandoned steel factory in Belgium. It has huge structures to climb and big rooms to explore.
However, in the summer of 2023, some parts of the complex were demolished by a destruction company. It looks like the factory is going to be removed in the future.

Photography Tips
This industry terrain is very close to a military base.
You can just about fly outside of their restricted airspace to capture this structure. Be careful not to fly into restricted airspace

Travel Information
Although the factory is closed and it is technically not allowed to enter, this factory is so huge that it attracts a lot of urbex visitors and the local authorities allow the visitors to be there. We saw at least 8-10 other small groups visit the site when we were there.
You have to enter the complex by walking alongside an inactive train track until you get to the factory.
Start at the parking spot initiated on the map and walk towards the purple mark on the map. From there you will see the pathway alongside the inactive track. The bigger train track to the south is still active so definitely don't walk there!
