Belgium Kleine stapper
The Stappersven is one of the largest fens in Flanders. It is located in our backyard, beautifully enclosed by heathland, dunes and forests, but somewhat tucked away in nature. From “de Stapper”, the new lookout tower next to the Verbindingsweg, the fen attracts attention in the beautiful heathland panorama, but the many ducks and geese that often stay there are only dots on the horizon. A more direct nature experience can now be had from the brand new “Kleine Stapper”, which stands with its feet in the water. Best moment to take pictures is the morning. Using a telephoto lens is needed because it's a large area. Using a big zoom lens can help focusing onto a single subject.
