The Eleonora Verbekehof is located on the Oud Sint-Jan site and is worthy of a visit. It is named after the nun who ran the pharmacy of St. John's Hospital in the mid-18th century and who kept all kinds of medical prescriptions.The herb beds that you see here and there refer to the former hospital pharmacy, the entrance of which is located on this square.
