Belgium Broeltorens

The towers are located in the Broelwijk, an area that is both close to the historical center and near the River Leie. This makes them easily accessible and visible as a modern landmark within the city. The towers served as lookout posts and control points. Guards could monitor the surroundings from these towers, spot enemy movements, and intervene as quickly as necessary.
