Bhutan Tashijaithang Campsite

The Tashijaithang Campsite is a beautiful high mountain campsite on the long distance trek from Paro to Laya. The views offer stunning sceneries of high mountains and lush valleys with rivers.

For details, use a tele-zoom, especially when the clouds are forming around the mountains. For the full scenery, use a standard zoom and try to get on an exposed place as much as possible to not have to many trees and bushes in the foreground.

In order to get to this remote and superb place, you would need to hike for several days through the Himalayan mountains. To reach here, a multi-day hike is mandatory. Starting from Paro into the route, the minimum amount of days to get here is 8 days with an average elevation gain of around 800-1.000m per day as well as 12-18km per day.
