Bolivia Incahuasi island

One of the main destinations during the Uyuni tours is the spectacular Isla Incahuasi (Inkawasi or Inka Wasi), an island in a sea of salt covered with giant Trichocereus cacti. It is famous for the spectacular panoramic views of the salt flat surrounding it.

Photography Tips

Many agencies propose this visit. For the photographer I give the ideal recipe. Depart early from Chuvica, around 5 am. It is the only way to take advantage of all the shades of lights. The blue hour and the golden hour from the top of the hill.
