Bolivia Sunrise at 'laguna colorada'
Laguna Colorada is a salt lake located in the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve on the Bolivian altiplano in the department of Potosí.
Located at an altitude of 4,278 m. The red coloring of its waters is due to red sediments and the pigments of certain types of algae that live there. The lake, the mountains and the fauna allow a rich variety of photographic compositions

Tourist transport from Uyuni or Tupiza in 4x4. With a private 4x4 car from Salta or Jujuy (Argentina) passing through San Pedro de Atacama. Bolivian customs makes it difficult to get through with Chilean license plates (see Pacific War). Bring a reserve of fuel (40 liters)
