Bosnia and Herzegovina The Highest Viewpoint in Mostar
The bridge (Stari Most) was built in 1566 by Turkish engineer Mimar Hayruddin after a number of failed attempts that resulted in collapsed bridges. The bridge stood for 429 years through Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian rule and two World Wars until it met a temporary end in 1993.
The Mehmed Pasha mosque I am in the photo was built in 1618 and almost destroyed in the Croat-Bosniak conflict but has been rebuilt since then.

Photography Tips
To get this amazing view, you can climb the minaret of the Mehmed Pasha mosque for €6 to get a view of the bridge from above with the old town below.
Travel Information
This place is in the city center of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. To come to Mostar, I recommend a car or bus. But there are other alternatives I think.
